Brother and sister, Marshall and Emiline, discuss and review their favorite books. It is also just a little bit scary because, somewhere out there, a monster is eating people's book reports!
Marsh's Book Report on Divergent (Divergent #1) by Veronica Roth
Beatrice lives in a society where the citizens are separated into factions: Amity, Candor, Erudite, Abnegation, and Dauntless. The faction each member belongs to is decided by an aptitude test. Beatrice has always been a member of Abnegation, but on the day of the aptitude test she gets shocking results.
I thought this was a great book. I loved it. This book is very intense, witty and filled with great fights. My favorite characters were Four and Beatrice. I admired how they were both very strong, cunning and confident. You cannot stop reading this book. Once you start, you have to see what happens next. I recommend this to people who loved The Hunger Games. I give it 5 monsters.

Have you ever wondered what it was like being a 1900's movie star? Well, you will know some immense facts after you've read Just Being Audrey.
Audrey Hepburn dreamed of being a prima ballerina until, one day, she realized all the other ballerina's snide comments about her being too tall and her eyes being too big were true. Audrey grew up and became so famous she had her own look called "the Audrey look." She traveled all around the globe. She worked harder than anyone else. She was the most glamorous actress ever.
I recommend Just Being Audrey to every 1900s fan everywhere! I love the Audrey pictures in the book and the writing--especially this quote:
"I never think about myself as an icon. I just do my own thing." Audrey Hepburn.
One day Artie is playing a video game called Otherworld when he gets a message that says, “‘Arthur. In one week’s time you will come to me at the IT.’” Sure enough, he ended up in IT, but IT was a video game and comic store called the Invisible Tower. The cashier’s name was Merlin. Merlin tells Artie that he is really the real Merlin. He also tells Artie that Artie is the real King Arthur. Merlin shows Artie and his sister, Kay, this place called the Otherworld where dragons and wizards really exist. Artie and his sister want Merlin to come with them to the Otherworld to get Excalibur, but Merlin says he is trapped in the Invisible Tower. Artie and Kay, along with their supervisor, Mr. Thumb, take on the quest to free Merlin from the Invisible Tower. On their journey they meet new companions and enemies.
Can they free Merlin?
The Invisible Tower, by Nils Johnson-Shelton, was a great book. It had lots of action and adventure. My favorite part of the book was when Artie and Kay were fighting the giant boar, Twrch Trwyth. I liked it because, no matter how many times they cut his limbs off with their swords, the boar’s limbs kept growing back and they kept fighting. They had a lot of perseverance in that battle. My favorite character was Artie because of how bold and courageous he was. I can’t wait to find out what happens in the next book. I recommend this book to fans of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series.
I got The Invisible Tower from my favorite bookstore, Little Shop of Stories.
You can find The Invisible Tower at your favorite bookstore or at your school or local library.
