Review by Marsh
Oliver Watson is a strange, pathetic 7th grader, but what none of his classmates know is the has a huge, multi-billion dollar, underground empire--right under his bedroom floor. He wants to enter the election for 8th grade president. He has a few tricks up his sleeve . . .
This book was super humorous, especially the descriptions of the teachers. I also really liked that Oliver had a secret stash of Milk Duds in the out of order toilet. My favorite character was Mr. Moorhead. I loved the way Oliver played around with Moorhead's love life and how he tried to help him get a date with a woman who could ruin his life.
This was a superb book. I give it 5 Monsters.
“According to the fortune-cookie logic most people live by, the best things in life are free. That's crap. I have a gold-plated robot that scratches the exact part of my back where my hands can't reach, and it certainly wasn't free.”
